The first Bowling 4 The Cure pin decorating contest will be held this year. The competition is open to everybody, and the entry fee is $20 per person, which includes the blank pin. First prize: $50; second prize: $30; third prize: $20.

Winners will be chosen based on votes they receive from those attending the Bowling 4 The Cure bowl-a-thon on October 4, 2009. Votes will be placed in the form of tickets purchased for $1.00 apiece that will be placed in sealed containers placed next to each entry.

The contest will be a fundraiser for Bowling 4 The Cure, and proceeds will go towards the day’s final tally. Funds raised will be donated to breast cancer research.

Decorated pins will remain the property of their designers. Designers will have the option of donating their pins to the silent auction.
